Entry requirements and application process • The average acceptance rate of IB students into university/college is 22 percentage points higher than the average acceptance rate of the total population. • The acceptance rate of IB students into Ivy League institutions (Princeton, Yale, Brown, Harvard, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, University of Pennsylvania) is between 3 and 13 percentage points higher compared to the total population acceptance rate.

The IB and University Success On average, IB students’ GPAs drop 0.5 points from High School to College compared to 1.0 for general education students.

How does the Diploma Program work? Students take seven IB Courses in the last two years of high school.

How do we participate? • Administrative Placement Application • Administratively Placed Students must take two IB courses during 11th and 12th grades. • Take honors courses during 9th and 10th grades to be best prepared. • Take rigorous courses during 9th and 10th grades (honors, global language).
IB Participation Requirements 1. Students must pass all State Mandated Tests 2. Administratively placed students must provide their own transportation. 3. It is strongly recommended that students take several honors courses before beginning IB Coursework.
