  2. Gary Guion was born in Arlington, Texas to a family of four. I have always had an entrepreneur’s mindset, so when I was in junior high I started the first of many ventures – a landscaping company. After graduating from Fort Worth Country Day School, a small private school in Fort Worth, Texas in 1995, I moved to the state’s capitol to attend the University of Texas at Austin. In mid-2002, I graduated from McComb’s School of Business and joined PricewaterhouseCoopers LLC, but in the first two years there I was reminded that I had an entrepreneurial desire that I couldn’t deny.

  3. Gary Guion left PwC and started a paving company; this company later merged with a larger paving outfit when I remained on the board for two years. I then took my construction and business school knowledge and joined Holliday Fenoglio Fowler LP and spent two years in the real estate investment banking business. I was quickly reminded that corporate America was not for me, so in 2009 I left and partnered up with a guy to buy multifamily assets in Texas. During our time together, we acquired approximately 5,000 units (approximately $200 million) in Texas and other surrounding states.

  4. Flatiron Commercial run by Gary Guion donated the work on an entire floor in a building located in Central Arlington. Tillie Burgin, the Executive Director said she was so blessed that Gary chose to have Flatiron do the work on a basis that the new Kids Center be honored in memory of Gary's close friend and mentor. www.missionarlington.org for more information or garyguion.org. This work facilitated the ability to guide over 750 children over spring break 2013 to God's word and his message.
