  49. 城大取錄193內地生文章日期：2005年9月15日 【明報專訊】城市大學今年取錄193名內地本科生，當中一人屬海南省尖子，於 當地高考取得897分，接近900分滿分。城大校長張信剛表示，本 年取錄的內地生質素極佳，有助推動大學國際化。 參與全國高校統一招生 城大今年首次透過「全國普通高校統一招生計劃」（簡稱統招）於內地17個省市招生，獲取錄學生主要來自北京、浙江、江蘇、廣東、上海和福建。逾半數內地生的高考成績超出當地重點大學取錄分數線50至100分，張信剛表示，由於招生反應理想，明年會繼續參加「統招」，暫時無意在內地自行招生。 海南省尖子高考近滿分 來自海南的李洋於當地高考取得897分，近乎900分滿分，獲城大頒發「狀元獎學金」44萬元。入讀城大商學院的李洋表示，欣賞本港大學具國際視野和學術發展前景，父母亦支持他來港升學。 內地生料有助負笈海外 來自天津的魏金金看好內地法律專業的發展前景，故入讀城大法律學院。魏金金表示，內地愈來愈重視法治，對法律人才需求殷切﹔她又欣賞香港是一個法治社會，認為來港攻讀法律將獲益良多，亦有助日後負笈海外深造。
