Enhancing Mobility: Transportation Services for Seniors in Clear Creek and Gilpin Counties

The Local Coordinating Council (LCC) is dedicated to providing flexible transportation services tailored to the mobility needs of seniors in Clear Creek and Gilpin Counties. This initiative involves a collaboration of stakeholders, focusing on delivering effective transit solutions through coordinated efforts like transit studies, Medicaid broker services, and funding acquisition. With over 64,123 trips provided, including assistance through Mountain Wheels and the RTD Call-n-Ride service, LCC aims to strengthen partnerships and improve transportation accessibility for seniors and veterans in our mountain communities.
