Women’s Enterprise Day • Both Ellie and Elaine helped to organise the Your Big Year Women‘s event in Global Entrepreneurship Week and gave their expertise, contacts and time pro bono to ensure the event was a success • Responsible for bringing other local networks together as a cluster to help with wider networking • Training that is relevant to women’s start up and growth businesses

Women’s Business Centre Standard • Elaine – Management Consultancy for research and report for Prowess • Recognition of WBC as best practice for main stream • Ellie and Elaine trained as Assessors and helped to shape the framework • Elaine undertaken on site assessments and provided consultancy and learning for would be WBC’s. Ellie taught BL about WBC and provided links to mainstream

Your Big Year • Key influencers for the competition • 24 finalist enter a week long competition showcased entrepreneurship and global citizenship in Liverpool • 2 winners Carielle Doe from New York, and Michael Teoh from Malaysia won a life changing trip around the world meeting world leaders and work on conservation and education project along the way
