  2. Garden International School (GIS) IS HOSTING THE 2012 FOBISSEA PRIMARY GAMES 5th/6th/7th/8th/9thJUNE 2012 RALLY AROUND THE FLAG! WE NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE THIS A GREAT EVENT.

WHAT IS FOBISSEA? ‘Federation Of British International Schools in South and East Asia’ CURRENTLY 34 MEMBER SCHOOLS British international schools from China now joining the federation FOBISSEA holds annual events for its member schools. One of these is ‘The Primary FOBISSEA Games’ (SAIS is in GROUP ‘C’ of the Games)

  4. GROUP ‘C’ SCHOOLS There Will be 9 Schools Participating

  5. TEAMS YR4(8/9): 6 BOYS + 6 GIRLS = 12 YR5(9/10): 6 BOYS + 6 GIRLS = 12 YR6(10/11): 6 BOYS + 6 GIRLS = 12 Each school: 36 CHILDREN + 3/6 STAFF APPROX 40 PER SCHOOL = 360 + Travelling parents from each school

  6. PRIMARY GAMES DATES • Tuesday 5th June: Arrival and welcome poolside dinner at the hotel. • Wednesday 6th June: Track and Field (morning). Swimming (afternoon) • Thursday 7th June: T-ball at GISR. Evening dinner at a beach restaurant • Friday 8th June: Football at GISR. Evening Gala dinner at the hotel. • Saturday 9th June: Depart

  7. CHILDREN’S/STAFF HOTEL ‘The Purimas Hotel’ This hotel is ideally situated in Ban Chang close to the sporting venues: Mathidol Swimming Pool and Navy Track Children will be staying in twin rooms Website: www. www.purimas-rayong.com/ppc/index.php

PARTICIPATION FEE AT PRESENT 11.200bht/CHILD The participation fee includes: • Accommodation, breakfast and dinner costs • Any necessary trophies & signage • Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place • PARTICIPATION BAG: • Official programmes for all participants • Participation Medals to all participants • T-shirts to all members of official school parties • Cap + souvenirs etc. • Lunches/snacks/drinks/ice on competition days • Dinner at the Presentation Gala Evening • Hire of facilities, Medical/Ambulance attendance, payment of officials/labour etc., bottled water, sound systems, ID-bracelets?, INSURANCE etc
