The Boljoon Pride Campaign focused on the Arbor and Granada Marine Protected Areas (MPAs), targeting approximately 1,756 community members including fishers and coastal dwellers. The campaign aimed to address the threat of illegal hook and line fishing within the No Take Zone (NTZ) by promoting compliance with MPA regulations. Active participation in management committees has increased, leading to more reports of illegal fishing. Interviews with key local authorities revealed positive behavioral changes among fishers, fostering a collaborative approach to MPA management and conservation.
