  5. Key Challenges Underdeveloped LGBT Sector: Capacity for involvement Lack of information Current Equalities legislation: Public Duty: Focus on 3 strands Preparing for sexual orientation and gender identify 5

  6. Services included Mainstream Statutory Services Police, NHS, Local Authorities, Housing Providers, Higher and Further Education Services, Fire Services Community and Voluntary Services 6

  7. Responses so far… Total of 46 Services Surveyed 13 completed: <10% response rate No responses from Education Centres One Police, Fire and Local Authority response 2 NHS responses 3 Community and Voluntary Service responses 5 Housing Provider responses 7
