  2. d-Au Setup during past Week • Mon 5 Nov: Blue declared cold (4K). • Tue 6 Nov: Yellow declared cold. • Wed 7 Nov: Blue ready for d injection. • Thur 8 Nov: Deuterons injected and circulating in blue. • Fri 9 Nov: AGS injection kicker (A5) successfully modified. All 8 transfers of d from BTA now survive in AGS. 90% transfer efficiency.

  4. d-Au setup (cont’d) • Sat 10 Nov: Yellow PS work. Work on ramping with d in blue; almost to Store. • Sun 11 Nov: Gold injected and circulated in yellow. • Tue 13 Nov: d accelerated to Store in blue with 68% transmission. Yellow also ramped but no Au to store yet. • Thur 22 Nov (or earlier): d-Au collisions.
