  2. Bonjour! • This is Nadine. • She is an 8 year old girl • She lives in Paris • And she has a lot of questions that she would like answered!

  3. She loves her country! • Nadine appreciates her family, home, and friends • She is thankful for public education and the socialized health care that has saved her mother’s life, for her family is not a very wealthy. • Although Nadine is an immigrant and misses her homeland of Morocco, she has embraced France as her new home!

  4. But Not everything is perfect… • For not everyone is very welcoming of her family • Nadine and her kin have been the target of xenophobic and racist French people, who wish for France to “remain French.” • She has also seen her mother ridiculed for practicing her faith • Nadine and her mother practice Islam, a faith under undeserved ridicule due to a few extremists. These kind of acts unfortunately happen in most western countries.

  6. ??? • This is the current end of Nadine’s tale, but since she’s only eight, there’s plenty of time left to add to her story. She may even become president of France.(Yes they have a president as well)
