The iGEM Team EPF Lausanne is dedicated to synthetic biology, focusing on innovative projects using the International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) framework. Our team received a comprehensive kit of biological parts to construct advanced biological systems over the summer, leading to participation in the prestigious iGEM Jamboree at MIT in November. We are particularly excited about our work with the BioBrick protocol, molecular dynamics simulations, and applications in gene transcription in mammalian cells. Our mentors are renowned experts in biological network characterization, systems biology, and biomolecular modeling.

WHAT IS IGEM? International Genetically Engineered Machine Having received a kit of biological parts from the iGEM Registry, we start to build our biological systems over the summer. The perspective of the Jamboree in November at MIT and the project design is exceptionally motivating, in addition to the fact that this is a good learning experience.
