  2. The Pet Nanny Going out of town? Can’t take ’em with you? The Pet Nanny will keep your pet happy and your home safe! When we travel, we want our 4-legged (and 2-legged) family members to get as much love and attention as they would if we were home. The Pet Nanny offers convenient in-home overnight pet sitting because we want to make your pet as comfortable as possible while his or her best friend is away. We will stick to the same routines your pet is used to . . . take them on walks in familiar areas . . . and feed them the same meals each day. Our goal is to reduce the stress your beloved companion undergoes while you’re gone, so that you return to the same happy, healthy pet. We are a husband and wife team who adore animals of all shapes and sizes — and strive to keep our services affordable while going beyond your expectations. Using The Pet Nanny gives you a two-fold benefit. Not only will your pet be well taken care of, but you’ll have an additional security measure while you’re gone. Our presence in your home can deter robberies and break-ins. Potential burglars will see us coming in and out of your home, lights being turned on and off at night, and a vehicle in the driveway — all this will cause them to pass by your home as a target. We know that you have many choices when it comes to finding reliable pet care, but we like to think of ourselves as a service that provides that little something extra you won’t find anywhere else.

  3. Jerry and Alison Koons Jerry and Alison Koons are pet care professionals and dog walkers. They are members and volunteers at Tony La Russa’s Animal Rescue Foundation, and a member of Pet Sitters international, one of the nation’s leading educational organizations. Committed to keeping dogs and cats in their care safe and having a great time, they are both Canine First Aid certified. They avidly pursue ongoing continued education and professional development by attending several seminars per year and keeping current on all industry literatures and events. The Pet Nanny puts clients first and is well respected and referred to by clients, past and present as an ideal way for busy pet owners to get their dogs and cats the exercise they need to be healthy, happy and easy to live with. When not helping clients to enjoy easier lives with their pet companions, Jerry and Alison enjoy going on walks with their own dog and spending time in the outdoors. Based in Concord California, we service the Concord, Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek, Martinez, Clayton, Rossmoor, Alamo, Danville, San Ramon and surrounding locations. The Pet Nanny was founded by two individuals who love animals, Jerry and Alison Koons. With the Pet Nanny, your pets will receive as much love, attention, praise, playtime and supervision they could ever want. We know we cannot replace you, however – we will make sure your pet has an enjoyable time while you are away.

  4. Services You cannot be home 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is where the Pet Nanny comes in. While you are away, our goal is to provide you with the peace of mind that your pet is receiving excellent, loving, personalized care. They will not have to experience the stress of being relocated, and their diet, medications (if needed) and exercise remain routine. We will walk, throw the ball and just sit with your pet providing undivided love and attention.   5. Our Rates We think our rates are very reasonable compared to our competitors. We endeavor to provide the best care for your pets! If you need something extra or special, please let us know and will do our very best to accommodate you! Our rates are comparable with other pet sitting and walking serives.
