  2. 2007 Goals Update • Complete and improve SCR745, Retail Market Outage Evaluation & Resolution, implementation and reporting. • Unscheduled changes and issues discovered while in testing environment prevented planned implementation on 12/08/07. Vendor involvement was necessitated. Implementation planned for January 12, 2008. • Update ERCOT Service Availability Agreement to be inclusive of service degradation Issues. • Completed inclusive of increasing scope to include MarkeTrak and TML applications. In addition, a separate report reflecting service degradation issues and allowing transparency is being provided on monthly basis.

  3. 2007 Goals Update • Monitor implementation of SCR748, Website Enhancements for ERCOT Outage Notifications. • Live since 11/28/2007 is located on ERCOT’s homepage under “VIEW DATA AND REPORTS: Notices”. If red flag is shown, ERCOT has an outage. This is strictly a webpage notification and does not replace the email notifications. There are plans in place to make process more robust by linking notifications to email notice and add planned outage calendar in 2008. • Successful TX SET 3.0 Implementation • TX SET and MCT defined processes inclusive of market shutdown timing prior to and during transition. • TTPT developed additional scripts to support MP testing

  4. 2007 Goals Update • Define MarkeTrak Ph II enhancements and performance monitoring • MMWG developed documentation identifying enhancements to market tool and worked with ERCOT to develop SCR749 • SCR749 Approved by TAC 08/02/2007 • MT2 Task Force defined requirements. • Is now in planning stage with ERCOT.

  5. 2007 Goals Update • Monitor PUCT Activities: • Advanced Meter Rulemaking • Implementation Planning Meetings underway. • COPS and RMS Co-sponsor of Demand Response Task force • Net Metering and Distributed Generation • RMWG broke ground identifying and elevating 12 issues • Rulemaking in progress and slated for October 2008 • Performance Measures • MMWG collaborative effort supported refinement made in rulemaking • Next step to define reporting template supportive of rule. Reporting begins 07/2008. • Prepay Rulemakings • No impacts identified

  6. 2007 Goals Update • Priority Move-ins: Continue PRR672, Retail Market Timing Necessary for PUCT Project 29637, effort to improve ERCOT throughput of 814_20 maintenance transaction • TX SET’s Recommended solution of an additional processing pipe was implemented by ERCOT in February 07 • PRR707 developed and approved to support ERCOT ability to improve 814_20 processing • PR60008 is in “Initiation” stage.

  7. 2007 Accomplishments • PMO/PPL and Stakeholder Communication Process • Established threshold for ERCOT to communicate with Subcommittee prior to moving funding when in excess of $500K • Subcommittee input included in BoD packet • Test Flight Schedule • Reduced from 4 per year to 3 for 2008 • Note: 27 new CR’s tested in 2007

  8. 2007 Accomplishments • Revised Inadvertent Gain process and documentation resulting in clarified timelines, responsibilities and process consistency. Training is under development and will be offered beginning in February and will be available on ERCOT website and presented with ERCOT 101 training. (Ref. RMGRR059) • IGTF will sunset following establishment of training.

  9. 2007 Accomplishments • RMGRR049 Electronic Authorization for Historical Usage LOA • Provides CR option of using electronic authorization request when submitting LOA for historical usage information • Provides clarification on expiration date of LOA • Provides option for level of detail being requested for IDR accounts • No cost impacts to ERCOT or MP’s

  10. 2007 Accomplishments • Retail Market Guide Revisions • 050 Mass Transition Process for Events Initiated Prior to a Weekend or ERCOT Holiday and Additional Clarifications • 051 ERCOT Template- ESI IDs for Gaining CR/TDSP Use • 052 File naming convention for Customer Billing Info. • 053 Conforming RMG to Section 21 and other Guides. • 054 Provision of Customer Billing Info to TDSP’s during Mass Transition event. (Revised by 058). • 055 Transaction Timings: Synchs Matrix with PRR672, 693 and 707. Removes “Drop to AREP” references. • Pending: 059 Inadvertent Gain; 060 Mandatory IDR Installation Process

  11. 2008 Goals • Design Performance Measures reporting template to support Project 33049 • Automate the process for end of term POLR to POLR transition – 2 year term ends 12/31/2008 • Add Change Control management functionality to ERCOT.com webpage similar to Texas SET’s Issues page on the same website. • Improve usability of transaction examples • Complete and implement MarkeTrak Ph 2 • Complete and implement Inadvertent Gain training

  12. 2008 Goals • Monitor PUCT activities for market change requirements • Support requirements definition to support Demand Response and Distributed Generation • Monitor ERCOT system outage evaluation, resolution and communications inclusive of service degradation issues. Update SLA as needed. • Assess success of Ph 1 and 2 of SCR745 to determine if further actions are necessary • Support ERCOT’s full implementation of SCR748 web based outage notification • Represent TX Deregulated market to NAESB
