The structure outlines the overall plan of a song, and duration indicates the length of notes. Timbre signifies the unique quality of sound an instrument or voice produces. Additionally, silence plays a critical role, as it includes breaks or rests in the music. Finally, tempo measures the speed of a piece, affecting its overall feel.
