What Do Catholic Parents Do? • The parent(s) and their children participate in the weekly Eucharist. • The parent(s) pray with their children and teach them to pray. • They provide a home that cultivates a Catholic imagination. • They show their children that service in the name of Jesus is central to the Catholic way of life.

  3. What Do Parents Do? • The Parent(s) and their children participate in the weekly Eucharistic liturgy.

Discussion QuestionsParticipating in the Eucharist • We ask: • Your own participation in the Eucharist • Teach the prayers and responses of the liturgy • Commitment to bring child to the Eucharist regularly • Of the three requests which one do you think parents will have the most difficulty with and why? • What would be the best ways for the parish to assist parents in fulfilling these requests?
