  3. introduction Around 4000BC(a very long time ago) civilizations arose in the fertile valleys of The River Nile in Egypt.

  4. Building Materials and Techniques The skilful ancient Egyptians built homes out of sun-dried bricks which were made of mud and straw. The artistic ancient Egyptians cleverly invented brick moulds . They would carefully make a thorough mixture of mud and straw. Next , they would get the thick mixture (it is good if the mixture is thick) and pour it into the mould . After that ,the bricks would be left in the sun . This was the only way that the sun helped them. • BACK HOME

  7. Homes for the rich Noble Egyptian people lived in massive villas around the river Nile. The houses were made with polished limestone which made the walls sparkle as weight as the moon; but not all homes were made out of stone as it was really difficult to cut and use . Most houses(even if they belonged to the rich)were made out of the sturdy bricks.
