  1. “Keep Christ in Christmas”3rd Annual – Poster Contest What is the true meaning of Christmas?Christmas is about Jesus, his birth and that is what we celebrate and the reason we give gifts on Christmas. The focus of the entire Advent season is the celebration of the birth of Jesus the Christ. However, the spirit of “Christ”mas is also in the giving and sharing of your time and talents to help others less fortunate. The Knights of Columbus - Council #12480 are again sponsoring their Annual Poster Contest, for the youth ofSt. Francis of Assisi. Last year was a great success …childrenK thru 12th really expressed their creativity and talent in representing the true meaning of Christmas. • Rules: • Open to any Parish child (pre-K thru 12th grade). • Entries must be on paper/poster no larger than 11”x17” in size...the KofC will provide “one” sheet per child, at the KC table after Mass. • Format can be oil, crayon, pencil, ink, watercolor, etc • All Entries must be the original work of the child. • Only “one” entry per child, with completed entry form on back! • All Entries due by 7pm Thursday, December 9th. • All entrants release reproduction rights to the Knights of Columbus. • Any Entry failing to follow the rules, will not be eligible for prizes.
