The Laboratory of Solar Energy and Building Physics (LESO-PB) at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL) is dedicated to innovative research in solar energy technologies and their integration into building design. Directed by Prof. Dr. Jean-Louis Scartezzini, the lab focuses on sustainable urban development, advanced daylighting technologies, and biomimetic building technologies. With a budget of 3.5 million CHF per year and a robust team of 40 scientific collaborators, LESO-PB leads significant advancements in enhancing energy efficiency in architecture.
