  1. India’s population Distribution Diversity Change Migration Sustainability By Jordan Neville

  2. Distribution - Distribution Ganges • India’s population is mostly spread across coastal areas and the Ganges river . • They spread coastal and by the Ganges river because there is a water and food supply . They use the river and the sea to fish clean and drink (from the river ) . They also use the Ganges river to water their crops which is another food supply . Highly populated coastal areas

  3. Distribution This graph shows the rising population in India which is the main factor in India distribution . The main reason there is so many people spread across so many areas . There are heaps of people living in coastal areas simply because there are so many people . The graph shows its still rising steadily meaning there's going to be more over crowding . India can only withstand 500 million people and it doubled that in 2004.

  4. -Diversity As you can see allot of India is divest into rural so they can grow crops to feed them and their family's which is mostly the poorer people doing so along coastal areas for access to water to help their crops thrive. • India As you can see in this pitcher people grow allot better crops along the Ganges river simply because there is easy access to a constant simply of water meaning more people will live by the Ganges river . The can clean , fish and grow crops here .

  5. Diversity

  6. Change in India Key Factors for change in India: Change in population = births – deaths

  7. Migration • Along the Ganges river because there is a water supply there • Better living conditions • Why do Indians move ? Migration is the Indian population moving with in there own country • More money or income • Access to health care

  8. Migratingtootherplaces Immigration (coming into the cup) ~ Migrating out of a country is Emigration ~ Migrating In is immigration

  9. Sustainability • India could reduce Family's by bringing in the one child per family policy like in China • They could decrease the number of people coming into the country . India is not sustainable . It is using to much water way to fast it has a large population already and to feed its population it will need to dramatically increase its agricultural industry and if its to feed there population they will run out of water by 2050 . India needs do decrease its population. Sustainability is taking care of the world and its environment for future generations
