  2. habitat • The Seminoles lived in the everglades where it is hot and wet • Throughout the everglades were and are hummocks this helped the Seminoles because few white men ventured near them • The Seminoles lived in chikees, these houses were thatched with palmetto leaves, this provided the Seminoles with protection from the sun and the rain • The clothing Seminoles wore was very durable to help with the ruff surroundings

  3. Ceremony facts • The green corn dance, a ceremony were one drinks a bad tasting drink which made them throw up, they did this to clear the body and rid it of evil!

  4. Special animals • The names of some special animals: the bear, the deer, the fish, and the panther. • The panther was the first animal to walk on the world. • The panther was the breath makers pet.

  5. Seminoles main diet consists of: corn, gardened vegetables, wild and exotic plants , and fish. They also ate coonti a pudding made of ground up roots from the arrow group clan. Seminoles ate many fruits including: bananas, oranges, coconuts, and pinapples food

  6. The Seminole war The fist Seminole war was against the Spanish This war occurred because at the time Florida belonged to the Spanish

Hunting • The Seminoles were brave warriors whom fought amongst themselves as much as they fought the settlers. • Two valuable products the Seminoles hunted were alligator skins and bird feathers. • They hunted deer and bear with gun. • When they didn't hunt them with gun they used a bow made of hikory • Seminole men were responsible for defending there people • They made arrow heads from iron brass they got from the Spanish
