  2. Potential threats for the organism • Frustration /hindering may cause stress All types of stress cause a chain of reactions named as ‘fight or flight’

Stress Reaction in Human • Respiration accelerates • Blood pressure and heart beat rates increase • Muscle tension increase • Bowels and other digestive systems slow or stop working • Pupil enlargement • All sensory systems work better • Number of erythrocytes increase • An alarm reaction aiming to survive may increase stress • Hormonal reactions (cortisol levels increase)

  4. Emotional Reactions • Discomfort, worry • anxiety • Unhappiness, depression • Anger, aggression
