Evaluating Contested Fields: Science or Pseudoscience?

This project focuses on examining various contested fields, analyzing their validity as science or pseudoscience. Students will choose one area from Freudian Psychoanalysis, Extrasensory Perception (ESP), Creation Science, Homeopathic Medicine, or Political Sociology. Through quick internet research, they will define the selected field and provide a defense of its classification based on learned concepts. This exercise aims to deepen understanding of scientific criteria and promote critical thinking about controversial subjects in modern science.
