Improvement of Cement Mill Open Gear Coating with Rewitec: Before and After

This report highlights the significant improvement observed in the tooth flank damage of a cement mill's open gear after applying Rewitec Surface Treatment between March and June 2007. While some visible damage remains, the texture of the surfaces has noticeably improved, demonstrating that the treatment effectively smoothens out these damages. Additionally, further assessments revealed reductions in noise, vibrations, and temperature on the tooth flanks, indicating enhanced performance and longevity of the gear system post-treatment.
