Sophomore Progression Standards To Enroll in Sophomore Business Courses Must complete 5 of 6 BBA core courses COB 191 (Statistics) COB 204 (Computer Information Systems) COB 218 (Legal Environment of Business) ECON 201 (Micro-Economics) GECON 200 (Macro-Economics) MATH 205 (Calculus) Must have at least a 2.500 JMU GPA

  10. What If You Fall Short? GPA Between 2.400 and 2.499 - Have summer to reach 2.500 GPA Below 2.400 Will be directed to Career and Academic Planning to select another major

  11. To Be Considered for Admission to the CoB & COB 300 Minimum 2.800 JMU GPA Completion of remaining BBA core courses (10 courses in all) No more than 2 Ds, Fs, WFs, or combination of Ds, Fs, and WFs Have completed 56 – 70 credit hours when beginning COB 300
