Why does God care about our Effectiveness as Teachers / Professors? • It may strengthen our opportunities to share our faith with students and other teachers. • It allows us to live life more “abundantly” or “purpose filled.” • The more effective we are, the more people we can help. • Because we care – He cares. He wants our personal relationship with Him to grow and develop.
How can the Holy Spirit play a role in our teaching? • Wisdom and discernment of content and level • Aid in the discernment of need / diagnosis for learning • Wisdom and discernment of teaching strategies / feedback • Outlook on teaching effectiveness / efficacy • Change circumstances • Change of student attitudes / behaviors / perceptions • Improve teacher – student relationship • Provides opportunities to share our faith and relationship with God
