Requirements for School-Based New Apprentices

School-Based New Apprentices must meet specific criteria to participate effectively. They are required to be enrolled in the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) and seek acknowledgment and endorsement from their school regarding their Training Plan. Additionally, apprentices must sign a Contract of Training with an employer, attend school and work part-time, and participate in formal Vocational Education and Training (VET). They will also receive a pro-rata wage for both work and VET training, ensuring a balanced approach to education and real-world experience.
