Story Map -Started his business with only $5,000 -He became very wealthy -Was a Wall Street Tycoon -He paid investors with principals received from other investors Setting: Manhattan, NY Character: Bernard Madoff Problem: Ponzi scheme -He schemed investors out of $50 Billion, called the Ponzi Scheme -It was the largest swindle in Wall Street History -He was turned in by 3 senior managers, 2 of them were his sons -If convicted, he faces upt to 20 years in prison and $5 Million in fines -He ended up with nothing
