  1. Independent Reading Project 3 By :Kyle McGee

  2. AL CAPONE DOSE MY SHIRTS • Author: GENNIFER CHOLDENKO

  3. A boy named Moose is forced to move to ALCATRAZ Island for his dad’s job ,and ends up finding out some cool stuff about the island. Like having public enemy #1 next door. He ends up finding there some interesting kids there and becomes good friends with them.

  4. This is a story told by Moose Flanagan and how he feels about moving to the island and his view of the events that happen while he is there.

  5. Some of the conflicts he faced in the story were his sister has autism, he has trouble making friends, because the kids on the island are not his age, he barely ever sees his dad, because he works all the time.

  6. The Main Characters are: Moose Flanagan, Piper William’s, Natalie, Mom, Dad, Theresa Mattaman, Annie

  7. The author uses irony a lot in the book, like when Moose’s mom wants him to keep his sister safe and take her every-where he goes and he ends up putting her closer to a criminal.

  8. I like the book ,because the way the author plans it and describes the events in the way he dose . • I dislike how the end leaves you hanging and how sometimes the book seems slow.

  9. I would recommend this book to people who like a little bit of adventure and baseball.
