Management of abnormal Pap diagnosis / ICELAND - with HPV testing High / moderate / repeat low-grade Pap Colposcopy Biopsy / ECC CIN 2/3 or worse Normal/ CIN1/ atypi: If repeat high-grade Pap If repeat abnormal Pap HPV* neg: Pap 1 year x2 HPV* pos: Repeat Pap in 6 months x2 + one in 12 months Repeat Pap in 6 months x2 + one in 12 months Definitive therapy HPV* NegPap 1 year x 2 Older women Younger women CIN 2/3, AIS, cancer If all Normal: Pap 1 year x2 HPV* Pos HPV* Pos x2 If repeat moderate x 1 or low-grade x 2 Pap: Second colp and HPV* Normal /CIN1 /atypi HPV* = high-risk types
