Mensajes EDI “propietarios” • El concepto de mensajes EDI “propietarios” se refiere a los mensajes EDI desarrollados por organizaciones o empresas en función de sus propias decisiones y sin seguir por completo un estándar. • Como hemos dicho, en su origen, antes de que aparecieran los mensajes EDIFACT, Odette desarrolló sus mensajes “propios” o “propietarios”, usando la sintaxis EDIFACT, pero con segmentos inventados por Odette, migrando a “subsets” EDIFACT puros cuando aparecieron lo primeros UNSM (mensajes normalizados de EDIFACT). • Actualmente pocas organizaciones crean mensajes propietarios, aunque algunos siguen usándose debido a su gran implantación sectorial (caso de las normas VDA en la automoción europea).
