My Favorite Music: RENT, MGK, Escape the Fate, and One Direction

My all-time favorite play is RENT, which powerfully depicts life in NYC, love, acceptance, and the impact of AIDS through its music. The play resonates with diverse themes like identity and struggles. As for my favorite rapper, MGK (Machine Gun Kelly), his inspiring lyrics about real-life challenges and his journey from addiction to recovery deeply motivate me. Escape the Fate, my go-to rock band, offers calming tunes, especially when I'm angry. Finally, One Direction's upbeat music, especially "That’s What Makes You Beautiful," always lifts my spirits and reminds me of my inner beauty.

  2. My favorite play! My favorite play is RENT. I love this play because its powerful. It shows how they live in New York City dirt poor and they show love and acceptance in song and music. This play also shows how AIDS kills people and how you would never realize who has AIDS and who doesn't’t. It also teaches you about gays, lesbians, and transvestites.

  3. My favorite rapper! My favorite rapper is MGK which stands for Machine Gun Kelly. He’s my favorite rapper because his music inspires me so much. He raps about real life situations and what he went through when he was in high school and in college. He raps about his heroin addiction and how music helped get him clean.

  4. My favorite rock band! My favorite rock band is Escape the Fate. When I get angry, I’ll listen to all there albums and just fall asleep. They’re music calms me down.

  5. My favorite pop band! My favorite pop band is One Direction. There music keeps me upbeat and happy. When ever i hear there song “That’s What Makes You Beautiful” I know that I’m beautiful inside and out.
