Why should you choose to be a part of the UNODC? • Large Mandate • All agendas are transnational; equal participations from all delegates is possible. • No minimum skill is required so it is equally interesting for newcomers and experienced delegates alike. • Fast paced committee which is sure to keep all the delegates on their feet and enthralled at all times during the conference.

  3. What does the UNODC exactly do? - The UNODC is a global leader in the fight against: • Illicit drugs. • International Crime. • Terrorism. • Corruption. - Enforcing Justice in all nations. - Research, trend analysis and forensics.

  4. commissions that come under the UNODC: • Commission on Narcotic drugs:Reviews and analyses the global drug control situation. • Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice:Deals with crime prevention and justice policies, including trafficking in persons, transnational crime and aspects of terrorism prevention. • Governance and Finance Working group: deals with budget of the UNODC and tracks the progress made by it. • Secretariat to the governing bodies:Acts as an interface between the other commissions.

  5. What we expect from you as delegates : Be a commanding and authoritative figure in the committee. research thoroughly be attentive in committee and take notes lobby and gain support of the committee actively participate in debate and keep it streamlined Think of Solutions for given problem
