Access comprehensive graphics and data for quantitative precipitation forecasts (QPF) at http://www.meteo.fr/extranets/. Our climatological state network features approximately 4,000 rain gauges providing daily 24-hour accumulated rainfall data, as well as hourly data from around 1,800 gauges. Model averages are conducted on 0.5°x0.5° and finer 0.025° grids. Detailed case studies from winter and summer 2013 examine 6-hour rainfall thresholds. Explore neighborhood rainfall examples through mapped data and improve your understanding of regional precipitation patterns.
