  1. Ehu Kai Oceanfront Studio at Hale Koolau Property Details The Ehu Kai (Seaspray) is direct oceanfront and is air conditioned. This is a spacious duplex studio, one bath rental with ceramic tile floors throughout. The Ehu Kai Kitchen & Bath were both remodeled early November 2006. The open kitchen has maple cabinetry and granite countertops, a full size sealed-top stove/range, built-in microwave, full size fridge, and all the cooking utensils you need to prepare complete meals. The kitchen opens to the living area with a convenient breakfast bar/nook. The living area is decorated with island-style furniture and enjoys direct ocean views. There is a full size futon with 8” mattress and teak dining table in the living area. The Ehu Kai has a queen size bed just 20 feet away from the surf. This rental enjoys cool ocean breezes year around, however there is a ceiling fan in addition to air conditioning. Enjoy relaxing on our direct oceanfront yards which overlook the blue Pacific Ocean. Watch spectacular sunrises and stroll down the beach to the Hauula beach park and coral preserve for some great snorkeling and swimming. Close by are world famous North Shore attractions such as the Hauula hiking trails & preserve, Polynesian Cultural Center, Turtle Bay Resort & Golf, Brigham Young University, Sunset Beach, Waimea Bay, Kualoa Ranch and the last unspoiled 'Hawaiian' style towns on Oahu. Enjoy your Hawaii vacation directly on the beach with this beachfront rental. All our properties are located in the fishing town of Hauula on the North Shore of Oahu near the Polynesian Cultural Center, Turtle Bay, Kualoa Ranch, and many other wonderful Oahu attractions. We are approximately 1 hour from Honolulu International Airport; where the Ko’olau Mountains touch the Pacific Ocean. Although we are “away from it all” we do have the Hauula Kai shopping center a short walk/drive away which has a large grocery store and several restaurants. Our rural community of single family homes, small shops, and quaint restaurants is very different from the high rise retail/ tourist centers of Waikiki and Ko’olina. With hiking trails and unspoiled beaches, we offer a glimpse of the Oahu of yesteryear with convenient access to the night life and modern pleasures of Honolulu and Waikiki. If you want to escape the crowds and discover a quieter and more peaceful alternative to the hotel and resort scene then Hale Ko’olau is perfect for you. Although our rentals are entirely self-catering we do have someone available by phone daily (except holidays) from 10am to 6pm to answer questions, give suggestions on where to go and what to do, or to just talk story. We have 16 different beachfront rentals to choose from. All of our rentals are located right next door to one another along the same stretch of beach, making our properties ideal for larger groups.
