  3. Early life • She was born on October 11,1884 with big blue eyes with and with pale blond hair. She played with Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Her mother died in 1892.Eleanor became an orphan at the age of 10 with the death of her father. She went to school in England.

  4. Adult Life • She married her cousin, Franklin Delano Roosevelt. They got married on March 17, 1905. She was a wife of a president. She spoke for civil rights and for national unity during World War two. She was smart. They had 6 children named Anna Eleanor, Franklin Jr., Elliot, Franklin Delano, Jr., John, and James. Her husband died of a polio attack in1921. Eleanor died on November 17, 1962 in New York, New York of cancer.

  5. Major Accomplishments • She a humanitarian , and she changed the role of the first lady that lived in the White House. She spoke for human rights, woman rights, and children causes.
