    3. Objectives and Takeaways Objectives: Learn what important points were made during Keynotes Highlight recommended sessions Key Takeaways: Understand whats coming down the road System Center is the Private Cloud

    4. Specific Points from First Keynote MMS celebrated its 10 year anniversary. System Center 2012 was officially announced. Windows Server (Code Named 8) is now officially Windows Server 2012. System Center will be updated to support Server 2012 when released. MCSE Private Cloud is the new MCSE certification. Slide Notes: Slide Notes:

    5. Specific Points from Second Keynote Windows InTune Pre-Release announced Support for iOS, Android, and Windows device management! In the future, closer integration with ConfigMgr. Commitment to user-centric devices increase focus on control and governance. Updated version of Configuration Manager 2012 (around GA release of Windows Server 2012) will include DeepLink functionality. Deploying VDI in Windows Server 2012 is streamlined and quicker to deploy. Other performance enhancements implemented as well. User Experience Virtualization (UEV) is new component in MDOP. Slide Notes: InTune Pre-Release summary: All lab systems at MMS 2012 are being managed by Windows InTune. Still does not support server OSs InTune and Self service on user controlled devices: ?Connected devices should be managed from the cloud. InTune supports Windows, Android and IOS devices. Devices can be trusted based on your active directory credentials via ADFS and Windows Azure Directory Services (AD in the Cloud). An updated version of Configuration Manager 2012 is in the works to include such features as: DeepLink functionality will be added where it can link into the application store (Windows 8 App Store) and as the user logs in with their AD account they see the icons for the various applications and just presents the user with the application that you want them to use in your organization to be productive. Application deployment in ConfigMgr 2012 considers not only successful deployments but also those that are already compliant (such as a condition where the application has already been deployed to a system). Silo applications Load applications without having to go through the primary store. Demo discussed an end-user remote wipe for devices discussed using My Devices User Experience Virtualization: UE-V is a user state virtualization product that allows individuals to change devices without reconfiguring applications or settings in Windows 7 or Windows 8. With UE-V, a user can log into a different system--physical or virtual--and enjoy a consistent Windows experience. The system configuration and application settings will be the same no matter what system the user logs into, making it easier to stay productive from device to device, or to resume work on another system in the event of a crash. UE-V integrates with Microsoft Desktop Virtualization tools, and can be deployed using Microsofts System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), or third-party deployment tools.Slide Notes: InTune Pre-Release summary: All lab systems at MMS 2012 are being managed by Windows InTune.
