  3. Physical Description cont. • The owl's body size can be from 20 to 28 inches • Wingspan can be from 4.2feet to 4.8 feet across • A males voice is loud and harsh,and a female's is the same but much more high pitched

  4. Ecosystem • The snowy owl lives in the Arctic tundra region between the tree line and the polar seas in the northern hemisphere. • It my move south out of its range during low prey seasons.This action is called irruption.

  5. Migratory Routes • The snowy owl starts its migration in the Arctic tundra • Next, it can go to a variety of places to go • Canada,northern U.S.,and Asia
