Why Utlbstat/utlestat? • Shipped with Oracle Release • utlBstat – Begin Statistics • utlEstat – End Statistics • Run utlbstat and some time later utlestat • Utlestat will produce a file called report.txt • Many DBAs use this to monitor their database(s) • But …. • Don’t know how to interpret report.txt
