  1. Enterprise Portal Training How to Create a Collaboration Project Announcement Use arrows to go forward or back

  2. Collab Project Announcement As a Project Leader you can post announcements that appear on the Overview tab within the Collaboration Project View and on the Announcements Portlet. Project Members or Project Guests cannot respond to announcements. Announcements are simply a way to convey important news to all project users.

  3. Collab Project Announcement Open the Project where you would like to post an Announcement. In the example below, the Project is being opened from the “My Projects” Portlet of “My Pages”. Click on the desired Project to open it.

  4. Collab Project Announcement Click the “New Announcement” link on the Overview Tab in your Project view

  5. Collab Project Announcement Enter your announcement in the Announcement Body text box. You can only use up to 2, 000 characters.

  6. Collab Project Announcement You can highlight the text and use the various font tools to enhance your announcement. Welcome to my Collaboration Project.

  7. Collab Project Announcement An Announcement Type icon can be added to the Announcement. Hover the mouse over the different icons to see what they represent. Welcome to my Collaboration Project.

  8. Collab Project Announcement You can change Font size, Font color, Center and Highlight the text, add images, etc. When you are finished creating your Announcement, Click “Finish” on the New Announcement box. Welcome to my Collaboration Project.

  9. Collab Project Announcement Your Announcement now shows on the Overview tab within the Collaboration Project View
