  2. Introduction Hypothesis:Adding acidic and alkaline substances to plants can help grow healthier and taller than adding water to plants (Assume that all plants grow in the same environment and their sizes are the same)

  3. Apparatus and materials • Three same species plants • Water • Acetic acid(pH value:4-5) • Lime water (pH value:8-9) • soil

  4. Method • Add 10cm^3 acid , alkaline and water to the three plants separately • Put them under sunlight • Observe three weeks

  6. Results The plant that adding water to it only grow Poorly. The plant that adding acetic acid and lime water to it grow healthily.

  7. Discussion and conclusion Conclusion: Weak acid and alkaline can stimulate the growth of plants and make them grow healthier. Improvement: all plants grow in the same environment and their sizes are the same
