    1. Beep-Baseball Skill Test Hitting off a Tee

    2. The Test Purpose: The skill being tested is striking the beeping baseball off a tee, while blind folded. Students will demonstrate proper techniques in batting as well as making contact with the ball and putting it into play. Instructions: Students will hit the beeping ball off of a stationary tee. They are allowed to have a person without a blind fold on guide them to the tee. Students are allowed 5 attempts to hit the ball off of the tee. Scoring Procedure: The test is worth a total of 80 points. The process and product scores will be added together to get a grand total. The skill test is worth 50% of the students grade for this unit. If the student is performing the process of the skill being tested most of the time they will be rewarded 10 points, if they only do it sometimes they will be rewarded 6 points and if they do it rarely they will be rewarded 3 points. The product part of the test will be graded on the same standards

    4. Test Product

    5. Grading Scale Process = 50 pts. (30 %) of grade Product = 30 pts. (20 %) of grade A= 70-80 B= 69-60 C= 59-50 D= 49-40 39-below=F

    6. Grades Average: 72 Highest: 80 Lowest: 64

    7. Missed Points

    8. Problems With Test Practice: Students did not have sufficient amount of practice time Familiarity: Students were not at all familiar with the sport they were being tested on. Process/Product Evaluation: Instead of allowing students 5 times to hit the ball off tee 3 times would have been just as efficient and take a lot less time.
