  6. Why does it matter? – Homeowner Perspective • Reduce energy consumption – Lower energy bills. • Longer lived components – lower frequency of replacement – lower maintenance costs. • Increased comfort. • Reduced environmental impact.

  9. Conclusion • Being Green alone will not be sufficient to boost sales. • Still need: • Curb appeal • Floor plans • Workmanship • Location, location, location • Community • Service both during and after the sale • Price point • Ignore this trend at your own peril.
