ALC-CC Mission • The Advanced Leader Course is designed to asynchronously educate all SGTs, SGT (P) and SSGs in leadership skills, NCO duties, responsibilities and authority, and how to conduct performance-oriented training. • Produce battle competent NCOs who are qualified squad/section sergeants, team/section leaders, evaluators, counselors, conductors or participants in individual and collective training, and performers/teachers of leader values, attributes, skills, and actions. “Educating Today’s Leaders for Tomorrow”

Course Overview • 90 day course (Calendar days) • 5 Modules = 80.4 hours • Graduates receive a DA 87 (Certificate of Training) • The following CMFs 68, 88, and 91 must complete 3 phases: (ALC-CC(DL), MOS specific DL phase, and MOS specific Resident phase) • The following MOS’s receive 1059s: (79V, 79R, 79S, 88T & 29E) • Course currently being redesign • Train over 13,000 Soldiers annually “Educating Today’s Leaders for Tomorrow”

CHAIN OF COMMAND (COC)/NCO SUPPORT CHANNEL RESPONSIBILITIES: (1) FIRST LINE SUPERVISOR WILL: (A) ENSURE SOLDIERS ARE AWARE OF THEIR SELECTION TO ALC CC (DL). (B) ENSURE SOLDIER COMPLETES ALL COURSE ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS. (C) MONITOR PROGRESS OF SOLDIER DURING COURSE. (D) COACH, MENTOR, AND COUNSEL SOLDIER AS REQUIRED OR NEEDED. (E) IAW AR 350-1, CHAP 2, PARA 2-44, PROVIDE SOLDIER TIME DURING THE DUTY DAY TO WORK ON COURSE MATERIAL.SOLDIERS WILL BE CONSIDERED A COURSE FAILURE IF THEY FAIL TO MEET COURSE STANDARDS OR SHOW A LACK OF ACADEMIC PROGRESS, OUTLINED IN PARAGRAPHS 5.F(2) AND 5.G(2) OF THIS POLICY. SOLDIERS ATRRS TRAINING RECORD WILL BE ANNOTATED TO REFLECT COURSE FAILURE. FAILURE TO SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE ALC-CC (DL) MAY RESULT IN A 24 MONTH WAIT TO BE RESCHEDULED. “Educating Today’s Leaders for Tomorrow”

USASMA WILL: (1) USASMA'S REGISTRAR WILL SEND THE NAMES OF STUDENTS, WITH A RESERVED SEAT IN ATTRS, WHO FAIL TO ENROLL IN THE COURSE BY DAY 15 OF THE REPORTING PERIOD TO HRC'S MILITARY SCHOOLS BRANCH SERGEANT MAJOR. (2) THE COURSE DIRECTOR WILL SEND AN AKO E-MAIL TO THE SOLDIER AND THEIR NCO SUPPORT CHANNEL IF THEY FAIL TO MEET THE FOLLOWING COURSE MILESTONES: (A) COMPLETE MODULE 1 BY DAY 20. (B) COMPLETE MODULE 2 BY DAY 30. (C) COMPLETE MODULE 3 BY DAY 45. (D) COMPLETE MODULE 4 BY DAY 60. (E) ON DAY 85 NOTIFY SOLDIER TO TAKE MODULE 5 EXAM. THIS ALLOWS A STUDENT WHO FAILS THE MODULE 5 EXAM AN OPPORTUNITY TO RETAKE THE EXAM BEFORE THE COURSE CLOSES ON DAY 90. “Educating Today’s Leaders for Tomorrow”

RESERVE COMPONENT NCOA'S WILL: (1) SEND THE NAMES OF STUDENTS, WITH A RESERVE SEAT IN ATRRS, WHO FAIL TO ENROLL IN THE COURSE BEFORE THE REPORTING PERIOD TO RESPECTIVE QUOTA SOURCE MANAGER TO SUBSTITUTE WITH SOLDIER'S IN A WAIT STATUS. AT DAY 15, PRIOR TO START DATE OF THEIR CLASS, ANY SOLDIER WHO HAS NOT PRE REGISTERED WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE CANCELLED. THE NEXT SOLDIER ON THE WAIT LIST WILL MOVE UP TO A CONFIRMED RESERVATION. SOLDIERS WHO MOVE FROM THE WAIT LIST TO A CONFIRMED RESERVATION AT THE 15 DAY PRIOR TO START DATE WINDOW SHOULD COMMENCE THEIR PRE-REGISTRATION RESPONSIBILITIES UPON RECEIPT OF NOTIFICATION. SOLDIERS WHO HAVE BEEN CANCELLED MAY INCUR A 24 MONTH WAIT TIME BEFORE BEING RESCHEDULED FOR ANY PHASE OF ALC.THE FOLLOWING ARE PREREGISTRATION TASKS THAT MUST BE COMPLETED: • A.
