Report the following using one of the verbs:admit, agree, decide, deny, explain, insist, promise, suggest • “How about buying him a CD?” • “Yes, it’s true, I did tell them.” • “Yes, I promise that I won’t stay out late.” • “Well, you see, I don’t know how it happened.” • “You really have to stay.” • “That’s not true. Sheila didn’t take the money.” • “Let me see. I think I’ll have the roast chicken.” • “Yes, you’re right. It would be better.”
