  2. Review all parts of your brightfield, binocular, compound microscope Name the three lens systems: Properly align path of light with Kohler illumination When viewing specimens, how do you adjust the light properly ?

  5. Two important rules: Only use oil on 100x objective lens. Never get it onto any of the other objectives! Never use the coarse adjustment with the 40x and 100x objectives.

  6. Trouble Shooting Trouble focusing on the object? Check the following: • Is the lightadjusted properly? • Was the object in focus and centered under low power? • Is the oil touching the lens? • Is the lens dirty?
