Civil Engineering SGB Overview • Civil Engineering Construction SGB was officially registered on 12 March 2000 • The SGB comprises of 20 Members representing key stakeholders: employer / employee bodies, construction specialists, government and non-governmental organisations and training providers • SGB Scope covers levels 1 to 8 of the NQF / emphasis on levels 1-4 currently • SGB Brief • Develop learning pathways • Generate unit standard-based qualifications • Recommend unit standards and qualifications • Recommend criteria for registration of assessors / moderators or moderator bodies Tim Meyer CIETS
