  6. What education and training do I need? • High School • Technical school • Apprenticeship • Earn while you learn

  7. What is an Apprentice? • An apprentice is an individual who learns a craft through classroom instruction and on-the-job training. Classes are taught by skilled journeypersons in that trade, while on-the-job training is overseen by construction employers. Unlike other training programs, apprentices are paid while developing their skills. And as the skill level increases, so will the pay level.
