In the aftermath of a catastrophic nuclear event, the students of SCHS find themselves alone, surrounded by the shadows of a once-bustling school. With only a six-month supply of food and radiation lurking outside, they must devise a plan for survival. As the days turn into weeks, the dynamics within the group shift—alliances form and tensions rise. Will one leader emerge, or will they seek consensus? Amidst the crisis, they discover resilience, friendship, and the will to persevere, proving that even in darkness, hope can flourish.

NB Item 1 • We’ve just entered a Nuclear Winter. You all were sitting at SCHS one day, all of the sudden, DUCK AND COVER!!! You are the only ones left. No administration, no teachers, everyone has died from radiation except the students. You cannot go outside the building because of all the radiation. There is only a 6 month supply of food in the cafeteria. • Write a creative writing piece about what you think would happen to the students. First, think of what you would do for 6 months, then think of what would happen to the student population. • Ignore trivial things!
Reflection • In a crisis situation where no rules exist, do you think it is more natural for one person to take charge and command everyone what to do or for people to come together and vote on decisions that need to be made.
