  3. Sponsorship 2013-14 Our Club: A club for both competitive and recreational Masters cross-country skiers. Run by local coaches in Chelsea and Ottawa. Structured training program. Our Masters train year round with cross training and dryland when not training on snow. We ski in races of short and long distances, loppets, touring events and recreationally. We are well represented at the Gatineau Loppet, the Canadian Ski Marathon and the Masters World Cup. Please visit our Website: WWW.XCCHELSEAMASTERS.COM

  4. Sponsorship 2013-14 Club Objectives: To develop and promote Masters racing. To encourage and promote cross country skiing as a lifelong sport and one of the best activities for adults to stay fit and active;. To support the cross country ski community at large, including Cross Country Canada, in the promotion of the sport for recreation and competition. To help promote the protection of our parks, green space, and wilderness for low impact recreation such as cross country skiing.

  5. Sponsorship 2013-14 Sponsorship Proposal: XC Chelsea Masters is seeking sponsors who wish to support the operation of our club and the achievement of our objectives. We are offering the following sponsorship options for potential sponsors: gold, silver, bronze and goods-in-kind. In the first three categories, sponsors commit to a financial sponsorship and/or the supply of goods and services, while the latter is just of the supply of goods and services. Details...

  6. Sponsorship 2013-14 • Sponsorship Proposal – Gold • Provides the opportunity to be the Primary Sponsor for XC Chelsea Masters. With Gold sponsorship you would receive the following benefits: • Your company name and logo would be alongside the XC Chelsea Masters logo as a partner on the XC Chelsea Masters web site. • Your company name and logo will be linked to your company website. • XC Chelsea Masters would acknowledge your company as the primary sponsor for the club. • Your company name and logo would appear on all correspondence from XC Chelsea Masters. • Your company name and logo would appear at any events as a primary sponsor. • Your company name would appear on team jackets in large letters as the primary sponsor. • Cost of Gold Sponsorship: $3,000 - $5,000 for one year(minimum $1500 financial).

  7. Sponsorship 2013-14 • Sponsorship Proposal – Silver • Provides the opportunity to be an Associate Sponsor for XC Chelsea Masters. With Silver sponsorship you would receive the following benefits: • Your company name and logo would appear as an associate sponsor on the XC Chelsea Masters web site and correspondence. Logo size would be smaller than that of the primary sponsor and may be in a different location on the web site and correspondence. • XC Chelsea Masters would acknowledge the support of your company as an associate sponsor for the club. • Your company name and logo would appear on all team jackets. • XC Chelsea Masters would acknowledge the support received from Silver associates in XC Chelsea Masters, and information brochures on XC Chelsea Masters activities. • Cost of Silver Sponsorship: $1,500 - $3,000 for one year(minimum $1000 financial).

  8. Sponsorship 2013-14 • Sponsorship Proposal – Bronze • Provides the opportunity to be a Sponsor for XC Chelsea Masters. With Bronze sponsorship you would receive the following benefits: • Your company name and logo would appear on a separate list of Bronze sponsor on the XC Chelsea Masters web site. • XC Chelsea Masters would acknowledge the support received from Bronze partners in information brochures on XC Chelsea Masters activities. • Your company name and logo would appear on all team jackets. Logo size would be smaller than that of the silver sponsor. • Cost of Bronze Sponsorship: $500 - $1,500 for one year(minimum $500 financial).

  9. Sponsorship 2013-14 Sponsorship Proposal – Goods Provides the opportunity to be a Sponsor for XC Chelsea Masters. This program provides an option to sponsors that prefer to provide goods and services rather than funding (e.g. equipment, skis, boots, waxes, wax benches, clothing, video equipment, timing equipment, sun glasses, etc.). With Goods-in-Kind sponsorship you would receive the following benefits: Your company name and logo would appear on a separate list of goods-in-kind sponsor on the XC Chelsea Masters web site XC Chelsea Masters would acknowledge the support received from the goods-in-kind partners in information brochures on XC Chelsea Masters activities.

  10. Sponsorship 2013-14 Sponsor Benefits: Advertising and increased community profile for your company/organisation. Depending on the level of sponsorship selected, XC Chelsea Masters athletes would train and appear in public wearing the team clothing with your company’s logo on it. By supporting master athletes in the community, this would present a positive image of your company to the public and consumers of your products locally, nationally and internationally. Visibility through the XC Chelsea Masters activities, web site, ski racing or other events, participation in races, charity fund raising. The club can be associated with your company’s advertising. Potential Tax deduction for your company.

  11. Sponsorship 2013-14 What you can do for us: Funding or goods/services based on the level of sponsorship: gold, silver, bronze, goods-in-kind. Store discounts on goods and materials. Special weekly discounts or clinics. Display of club promotional materials such as brochures. Link to our website on your site.

  12. Sponsorship 2013-14 Club Benefits from Sponsorship: Coach development Uniform costs Team equipment for racing (e.g. waxing benches, irons, wax, etc.) Travel support to races (e.g. cost of wax technician)
