The term "prostrate" is an adjective that describes the position of lying face down, often associated with submission or adoration. This word is commonly used to refer to individuals praying in a church setting, demonstrating humility or reverence. In contrast, antonyms of "prostrate" include terms like straight or upright. For example, I observed people on television who were prostrate in a building, clearly displaying their adoration. The term can be applied whenever one sees individuals in a face-down position.
